Sheet steel used to be 1/4” thick.  ¾ cab sheild per customer specifications.  Expanded metal window in bulkhead to match rear cab window.  Rail rack saddles are comprised of (4) four 4” x 4” x ¼” wall structural steel tubing, 6” high vertical stanchions (two per sidon top of bulkhead frame. Stanchions are spaced 19” (inside dimension) for rail containment.  Rail rack to be capable of hauling (6) 132 lb. x 39’ rails, (3) per side.  Rail saddles to be protected by 2 ¾” thick rubber blocks.    REAR BULKHEAD Rear bulkhead to be constructed of ¼” plate.  Outside dimension of bulkhead to be 102” wide x 40” high.    REAR RAIL RACK  Height to be 3” lower than front rail rack in order to clear the rotation of the loader.  Rack construction similar to front rack.  Gusset for additional strength welded from outside of rack tube to bottom section of vertical channels.    UNDERBODY COMPARTMENT  (2) 60” x 24” x 24”.  (1) 48” x 24” x 24”.  Door latches to be “T” handle twist-type with locks keyed alike.  Doors equipped with hold back chains.  Door openings to be sealed with automotive style bulb-type weather-stripping.  Compartments to be painted black    ROTOBEC 915 LOG LOADER  23” boom with 3’6” hydraulic extension. (Total extension = 26’6”)  Lift Capacities: 10,300# @ 10 Feet  Joystick controls.  Continuous rotation.  Operator seat with grip strut access ladders installed on both sides of loader frame.  Out rigger pads extended inward so pads hit ties when deployed.  Tie down loader at rear of chassis frame.  Fabricate and install flip-up extensions on bottom of access ladders on both sides of loader. When in the down position, the extensions are to be 20” above the ground surface. Extensions to be pinned when in the up position.  Electric collector ring to allow continuous rotation with magnet wired through the crane.  Two forward and two rear facing work lights mounted at loader frame and protected by access ladders with lighted toggle switch in cab, controlled with toggle switch in cab.  (6) Work lights, (3) mounted under bed on each side.  Amber strobe light under loader access ladder with toggle switch in cab.  Amber strobe light mounted center of head board with lighted toggle switch in cab.  Green strobe light mounted on headboard, Engine regen WARNING light.    BOOM TIP ACCESSORIES  Rotobec 68086RA by-pass grapple with RT142 rotator.  Holding valves.  Painted black.    RAILGEAR  DMF model RW1630/50 railgear.  Insulated axles with one piece wheels.  Shunts controlled with dash mounted switch.  Rail sweeps front.  Front rail gear switch in can with camera for viewing placement on track.  Slotted links  Front bumper mounted sight rods.  Align and rail test.    SEIB HYDRAULIC MAGNET SYSTEM  ESM-HP 36” Conventional Magnet.  Boom Cables.  Power Lead.  36” x 24” x 24” Magnet component storage box.  Pistol grip Joystick handle with rocker switch and indicator.  The grapple has “D” rings welded to it. This allows operator to use the magnet without disconnecting the grapple from the boom.    WISKERCHEN TRUCK CREEP DRIVE  The drive system enables the operator to drive the truck along the tracks from the seat of the loader. This Canbus system eliminates the need for large high maintenance wire harnesses, and allows the loader to maintain continuous rotation and not have to worry about detaching any hydraulic hoses or wiring harnesses.  Powered by a Poclain CDM222 creep drive motor, driven by a H1 Danfoss pump.  Controlled by Danfoss Plus 1 canbus system.  With display screen at operators seat. Showing start, stop, RPM up, RPM down, creep engage / disengage and diagnostics.  Safety neutral switch wired into transmission to prevent engaged drive through.  Joystick control for forward, reverse and horn.    HYDRAULICS  Bezares 4100 Series Air shift PTO.  Install tandem hydraulic pump (this pump provided for operation of loader and hirail).  50 gallon hydraulic oil reservoir mounted on curbside of chassis frame.  Heavy duty oil cooler.  Hydraulic return line filter to be located at reservoir.    TOOL CIRCUIT  5/10 gpm tool circuit  Tool circuit will NOT run simultaneous with loader.  Hanney hose reel  ½” x 50’ twin hose reel with roller guide – exits rear of body    TRAIN AIR SYSTEM  Rear mounted train coupler.  Air lines extended for train car connection.  A-9 valve mounted in cab with air level indicators.  Rear receiver solid welded and gusseted.  Rear pintel hitch insert to be used when train knuckle is not being used.    MISCELLANEOUS  Triangular warning reflector kit mounted in cab.  3A-40BC, 5 lb. fire extinguisher mounted in cab.  Backup camera with dash mounted monitor.  In cab brake controller.  External speaker mounted under loader ladder for railroad radio, no radio customer has radio.  Back up alarm.  Conspicuity striping.  All applicable operator’s, maintenance, and parts manuals.
